Dear Donna,

From time to time, you send us a note from one of the people you serve describing why the Sunday Evening Celebrations mean so much to them. We would like to try and express how wonderful it is to be host church for this event.

We have hosted a celebration twice and look forward to another great afternoon this spring. The Bridge community has such a loving and joyful spirit - it's infectious! Each of our volunteers - from those greeting arrival vans to those serving food or cleaning up - find they are touched by the grace and determination of our guests. Communication may not always be easy and "small talk" doesn't seem enough. But in spite of our differences, connectiions are made in a very short time. Even after just one event, we had new friends we looked forward to seeing again.

It's been a privilege for our church community to join with the Bridge community. We've been enriched by each individual who attends. Thank you for creating the opportunity to host Sunday Evening Celebrations.
