Many parents want their children to be spiritually nurtured & included in their faith communities. Parents are often weary however from the day-to-day responsibility of caring for their child with a disability and also from advocating with the school system, the medical system, and the disability service provider system. Many parents hunger for their own opportunities for worship, spiritual nourishment, fellowship and a supportive community that reaches us to them and their family. The burden of inclusion & faith development for their child should not be the sole responsibility of the parent, by intentionally shared by the faith community.

Join us to hear from parents what is working and not working for them in various faith communities and explore new opportunities to walk alongside families and persons with disabilities.
