On July 18, 2006 all the persons for whom Bridge is guardian, their housemates and caregivers were invited to have a Guardianship Luau at Woodland Park in Seattle. There was an afternoon of face painting, games and fun with lots of energetic Bridge volunteers and staff.

A lunch of hamburgers and hot dogs , macaroni and potato salad, chips, beverages and cookies was provided.

Everyone received a plastic lei. The games offered were bean bag toss, wheelchair obstacle course, straw boat races, diving for ducks, fishing for prizes, and face painting. There was also an opportunity to decorate a hat to take home, and get a photo with a hula girl.
