Volunteer Librarian
Are you a librarian
or do you have experience managing a library? Then we have an exciting
opportunity for you to help in the creation and maintenance of a
small specialized Resource Library that is unique in the area of
ministry with persons with disabilities. This library is considered
a model in the region and has state of the art computer software.
We are looking for a volunteer with professional experience for
cataloging, circulation, ordering and accessioning of materials.
The librarian
must have knowledge about cataloging and circulation as well as
computer skills. Professional library experience is preferred. We
seek someone with a Christian orientation who is supportive of our
mission with persons with disabilities. The time commitment is approximately
four hours a week, and is supported by a Bridge Chaplain and Resource
Library Committee.
Resource Library Committee
This Committee
works as a team with the assistance of a Bridge Chaplain and the
Resource Librarian to establish, maintain and enhance the Resource
Library.
Please visit How to Apply if you
are interested in being a Resource Library Volunteer.
